However, with the knowledge of browsing/surfing the internet you can design a website of your own using an already made template provided by Google Company. Since this website is free, your webpage will be in this form; http/yourname.blogspot.com.
PROCEDURES TO CREAT A FREE WEBSITE/BLOG WITH www.blogger.com AS A CASE STUDY.
STEP 1: ACCOUNT SIGN-UP.
• Goto www.blogger.com
• Click on the orange arrow that says ‘create your blog now’
• On the next page you will be asked to create a google account that is if you don’t have existing google account you signed up for any google programme either for e-mail, adword, e.t.c. otherwise you will need to go ahead and set up a goggle account by following the instructions on the screen. But if you have an account already, skip that step and log in using your pre-existing account name and username.
• Click continue to move to the next page. Here you will be asked to name your blog. What you are expected to do here is to give your blog a title as well as select a username that will be used as part of the web address for your blog. Note that the title of your blog should be related to what you are writing on and it is the title people will see when the visit your blog/website.
•Then click continue and you will be taken to a page where you will choose the template for your blog. your template is going to be the overall "look and feel" of your blog.It sets the colour scheme, layout and text for things like links and headings. You have a number of templates to choose one, so choose the one you think looks best and fits with the image you want to convey. you can't be wrong choosing a "clean and simple template". Just make sure you preview aech of the templates provided for you before making a choice. To select a particular template, simply click on it and then click continue. you should see a massage telling you that you blog has been created successfully as well as other massages like "start posting" if then you have an article (typed or untyped)you want to publish, then you click on start posting.If not sign-out and come back later and post you article. This now take us to step 2;posting your blog.
STEP 2:CREATING YOUR VERY FIRST BLOG POST.
• After clicking on "start posting " you will be taken into your administrative area for your account and you 'll see the blog entry tool waiting for your first post.
this is where you will type or cut or past the text you want to publish.after this you can preview your entry to see what it will look like on your blog . you can also save as draft if you need to stop working on your entry and come back to it later.in order to officially publish your blog entry to your website, simply the "PUBLISH" button. If published successfully, you will see a massage telling you that your blog was posted successfully.
